The Munich Institute of Biomedical Engineering (MIBE) contributes to the training of doctoral candidates at TUM with various offers. The offers are aimed at doctoral candidates from various disciplines who conduct research in the wide-ranging field of biomedical engineering. Participation can be counted towards the qualification program at the respective graduate centers of TUM.
MIBE regularly offers lecture series and an autumn school as well as other events and courses. In addition to the subject matter, networking of doctoral candidates and researchers with each other is also emphasized.
General information about a doctorate at TUM can be found on the TUM Graduate School website or the webpages of the department and school graduate center.
This three-day event brings together doctoral candidates from various disciplines. Besides these exciting talks from speakers from research and industry, the program contains meet-the-speaker-sessions, poster sessions, as well as a softskill workshop. Also, networking and teambuilding don’t come short.
The next Bioengieering Autumn School will take place in 2023.
Within this speaker series, two Principal Investigators of MIBE present their research area, latest results, and cooperations at each event.
Subsequently, there is plenty of time, to get in contact with the speakers and other participants.
The MIBE seminar talks provide insights in the current research of MIBE researchers. Primarily, doctoral candidates are presenting, but also students have the possibility to present the results from their theses in this format.
