Strongly associated with a problem-solving culture, BioEngineering is growing as a key discipline around the world for addressing daunting problems in the Life Sciences area. BioEngineering is a novel field that applies innovative solutions in areas of biology, biomedical engineering and medicine.
The Technical University of Munich is one of the few technical universities in Germany integrating biology (Wissenschaftszentrum Weihenstephan, WZW), biomedical engineering (Forschungscampus Garching), and medicine (Klinikum rechts der Isar, MRI), and is therefore optimally suited for hosting master programs in the field of BioEngineering.
